1952 or 53 at Portadown Bowling Club. Fancy roof in background is that of the old bandstand in the Pleasure Gardens.

1946 or 47 at Dunowen Tennis Club, This was on the Armagh Road. On extreme right of photo a little bit of the gable of one of the 'Salt Box' houses shows, one of these houses still stands. The area was redeveloped in the early 1990's with single storey cottages, Cottage Mews. After the winding up of the club the site was used by Dukes Transport, they moved to Loughgall Road then to present site at the Dobbin.
